Install an exit tap?

I want to install a gate valve outlet! But I have a terrace on the back of my house and not want the water tap and the pipe on the cover! Can I just spent a copper tube along the garden wall so that its distance from the house? We do not much frost here in Ireland! Someone sees a problem do that??

I made several around my house and used in PVC tubes not burst as easily as frozen on copper, it is easier to work with,,, you can dig a shallow ditch where it came from the new tap! This also freezes, I have also run along the wall and the paint used to make plastics matching colors so you can not even see them!
