Concrete Decking Material

concrete decking material
Regarding the phosphate coating on iron sheet versus the galvenizing.?

We are using corrugated GI sheet as decking material over which concrete will be laid. The iron sheet will be used as permanant shuttering and will be left in that place. There are two choices – to use phosphate coating on the iron sheet or to get the surface galvenized. Please suggest which one is superior. Is i it advisable to do phosephate coating on GI sheets? Or, if the sheet is already galvenized, whether I can use the galvenized sheet in place of phosphate coatied sheet. Please reply asap.

Thanks.

You are already using the corrugated galvanised sheet. It does not require any further coating. The phosphate coating usually used for outside purposes. It will then be painted. Read ‘rvsrinivasan’ hubs can be accessed through google search.
